    Ally has a unique skill set having completed a Computing degree prior to his Deloitte CA training. While in practice, Ally obtained eight Deloitte Limelight awards and an Audit Recognition Award.

    Since moving to financial roles in industry, he has utilised his skills to develop process improvements and efficiencies which have generated savings for the business, whilst also improving the overall integrity of financial and management reporting.

    Ally is an advanced Excel user with expertise in developing new financial models and automating processes through Visual Basic macros. He is also adept at learning new systems and finding more effective ways of using them.  Since joining Hutcheon Mearns, Ally has undertaken interim Financial Controller roles but has added additional value by simplifying previously manual processes to increase efficiency for the client.
